Festive Flurry Card

Hello everybody!  If it seems like I have been missing from blogland...I have.  On Halloween I was on my way to the elementary school to see my grandkids in the Halloween parade and as I was waiting to make a left turn I was rear-ended by an SUV.  My poor little Honda Civic got crunched, but it held up pretty well considering the size difference of the vehicles involved.  I am happy to report that other than a few days of a stiff neck and some numbness in my left arm, I am fine.  But it is amazing how something unexpected like that can really throw a person off their game.  Between insurance phone calls and car rentals and estimates and body shop visits I feel a little like my life has been hijacked.  It really could have been so much worse.  The vehicle that hit me was going over 40 MPH, and so I feel very blessed that things have worked out like they did.

I finally got some time to play around in my craft room, and I made this card plus some other fun things to share with you later.  I love my new "Festive Flurry" stamp set and the coordinating Framelits dies!  It is hard to tell in the photo, but there is a stamped snowflake, an embossed and die-cut snowflake, and then another die-cut snowflake with the center cut out to reveal more of the embossed snowflake below.  There are rhinestone jewels on the tips of the small turquoise snowflake and a larger rhinestone in the center of the embossed snowflake.  The sentiment comes from Stampin' Up's photopolymer set "Endless Wishes."  See the complete list of supplies below.
